Jose Luis Aznar Cross-examination Page 2322 D – 2336 D: Jose Luis Aznar added 15 user cases I had dealt with during my employment as evidence “that he had helped me”. These cases stretched over a long period of time and even months after my probation period ended. The selected cases were “mistakes” I had made. Mr Aznar claimed that he had found those cases recently but he would have needed to go through 1,100 cases (20 days each month x 55 cases per day) over 8 months, what makes at least 8,800 cases he should have gone through to find them. In fact, this was the file he had been building about me while I worked there. Mr Aznar stated that he did not keep cases but that he forwarded them. He stated as well that he helped me daily, which completely contradicts my vision of what happened: that he was every day checking for mistakes in my work. In his own witness statement Mr Aznar referred to these user cases as mistakes, so he is contradicting himself. Mr Aznar repeatedly denies that he was constantly looking for mistakes in other people's work and is then confronted with the written evidence that others had seen him doing this and reported it during the HR interviews. Page 2336 D – 2342 C: Jose Luis Aznar stated that there was a breaking point in his relationship with Susana Martin when a team leader from another language team informed him in writing, in a chat, that Ms Martin had said that he was gay. I point out that Susana Martin had denied during cross-examination that she ever had said that, which is an inconsistency in her evidence, which the Chairman agrees upon. Jose Luis Aznar stated that he never approached Susana Martin about the gay comment. He lost his respect for Ms Martin as a person because of it as “she didn't have it for him”. He stated that Ms Martin did not have strong leadership skills. Jose Luis Aznar states that Susana Martin created difficulties with holiday requests, bad shifts, picked bad cases to create bad evaluations and talked behind his back but that those things didn't make him feel miserable. He felt treated less favourably than others by Susana Martin. Page 2343 C – D: Jose Luis Aznar was aware that personnel left because of Susana Martin. Page 2343 G – 2344 E: Jose Luis Aznar states that Stef van Veen and Dennis Dorland had a similar quality of work, although Stef van Veen got a contract and Dennis Dorland was put on extended probation. Page 2353 A – D: Jose Luis Aznar states that the tensions were always there, that there had not been an improvement at 9th August 2017. He states: “people who feel bullied feel that every day.” He is then interrupted by Mr Martinez suggesting a five minute break. Jose Luis Aznar admitted that he felt bullied.
