The “Going to Daniela” smear campaign Camp 2 had a gossiping campaign to badmouth me in the whole department by falsely claiming that I went on purpose to ask questions to shift-supervisors and team leaders with the intention to make the Camp 2 members look bad. Stef van Veen and Dennis Dorland stated that they did exactly the same, asking questions to shift-supervisors and team leaders, but that was not a problem for the Camp 2 guys. When the Respondent rewrote history to create an alternative reality, they picked up this false Camp 2 allegation about me and presented it as that I was a cause of problems and frustration for Camp 2. There is zero contemporary evidence to support that my asking of questions was problematic. Page 1770 F – 1772 H: Dennis Dorland states that all three new starters did the same: they went to shift-supervisors and team leaders to ask questions. Mr Dorland and Mr van Veen had no problems with Camp 2 about this, but I was treated differently, more aggressively by Camp 2 for doing exactly the same. Page 2083 A – 2084 G: Stef van Veen states that he saw me going only 3 or 4 times to the shift-supervisors and that Camp 2 were offended by this. He did the same, but Camp 2 were not offended by him. In page 2107 D – 2110 C: during Mr van Veen's cross-examination, an email thread from 2nd February 2018 between him and me was discussed. The email stated: “I do very well understand that the whole situation bothers you. I find it incomprehensible that we are still talking about Bart went to Daniela.” Later he writes to me: “Keep your back straight”, meaning “keep your head up”. Mr van Veen explains that he wrote this to me because he felt that I was upset, I was not feeling well, that I was not happy. These feelings were caused by what happened on the work floor, a lot of tensions and that he felt that because of this, he needed to encourage me. That Camp 2 had brought up “going to Daniela”, which was a thing of the past, Mr van Veen calls this an example of the nonsense and bickering and he finds Camp 2's behaviour childish. In page 2114 A – G: Mr Martinez re-examines Mr van Veen, who confirms twice that if he asked a team member a question and he had his doubts about the answer he got, he would go and double-check with a shift-supervisor or team leader. The Respondent shot themselves in the foot here. Their fake version of history was exposed by one of their own witnesses. Page 2155 G – 2157 B: Susana Martin confirms that it was normal to go to shift-supervisors and team leaders to ask questions. In page 2171 C – 2172 A: Ms Martin states that Yousri Amrani and Jose Luis Aznar were more upset with me going to shift-supervisors and team leaders than with Stef van Veen and Dennis Dorland doing the same. |
